Documentary thriller about the greatest technological revolution ever; Artificial Intelligence.
Mankind is facing a crossroads. Artificial intelligence has become so advanced that we face a number of ethical dilemmas. Are we about to make ourselves redundant? And how do we ensure that artificial intelligence is used for good and not for surveillance, repression and warfare? Technology companies are perceived as the new superpowers, will technology take a crack at democracy?
The documentary thriller iHUMAN takes us on a journey into the “invisible revolution”, where artificial intelligence transforms us as people, society and the future. We are obsessed, dependent and controlled by technology. But, who really has control?
iHUMAN is the first international cinema documentary to show the political and social impact of the accelerating industry, through meetings with some of the greatest pioneers of our time.
iHUMAN had its world premiere at prestigious IDFA in Amsterdam before Christmas, with Edward Snowden in the after talk. The film has also been shown at a UN conference in Geneva, presented at the G7 Summit and in the EU, and will be shown at the World Economic Forum in San Francisco in April.
