In FIGHTERS, we follow the youth worker Berat who is given the task of rescuing the teenager Mamo from a criminal network. The two develop a close relationship that helps Mamo to find a new direction. But when Berat takes Mamo’s side in a police case, the police begin digging into Berat’s formative years in the village of Hallingdal. There, they find stories that they think are incompatible with working with young people.
