Behind the Blood
Honduras’ bloody gang wars and those forced to live with it.
Honduras is one of the most dangerous countries in the world, but what is life like behind all the bloody headlines? This thought-provoking documentary takes us to the different sides of the conflict: the gang members who commit the heinous violence, the priest who tries to rescue gang members and the journalist who reports on it all. All three live contiuously in mortal danger, not only from the gangs, but from the military and the police themselves, who often cooperate with the gangs. All three are searching for hope that things can get better, but it is hard to find when the government’s campaigns only exacerbate the situation, and the boundary between good and evil, right and wrong is becoming increasingly blurred.
