Salto, Pus & bucketlisten

Familiedag

Regi: Nora Nivedita Tvedt

When life feels a little too big, it’s good to have a dog that both understands you – and answers back.

For 12-year-old Tuni, the dog Salto and the cheeky cat Pus have their own voices. Together they take her on new adventures, and Tuni decides to make a bucket list of things she wants to do. The list includes everything from dancing in the rain and starting a bead sale to riding a motorcycle like a real hero.

With humor, imagination and a gallery of talking animals – voiced by Jan Gunnar Røise, Hilde Lyrån, Ulrikke Brandstorp and Scott Maurstad, among others – the film follows how Tuni and Salto find new ways to fill life with joy, even when the emotions they are feeling are overwhelming.

Salto, Pus & the bucket list is a warm, playful and touching family film about the friendship between children and animals, about daring to dream, and about the power of small projects that can change an entire everyday life. A film that will make both young and old smile – and maybe make their own bucket list when they leave the cinema.

“Salto, Pus og Bucketlisten” is an inspiring story about 12-year-old Tuni who faces life’s challenges with optimism. Director Nora Nivedita Tvedt conveys warmth and joy of life, despite the heavy story of her brother’s suicide and her mother’s cancer.

The screening is a part of Mini-HUMAN Family day.
