This documentary portrays the woman behind the independent news outlet Democracy Now! — and the stories she has brought to light.

The portrait shows a persistent journalist who is willing to seek out powerful leaders and dangerous war zones in the fight for truth. We see her in the field reporting from global conflicts, climate summits, and protests around the world.
