The deadline for film submission for the 2010 festival has now passed. Please do keep in touch, and remember us for the festival in 2011. The general guidelines will be the same -
Types of films accepted
The festival accepts both short and feature-length documentary films (including animation). The theme must be somehow related to human rights in a broad sense. Films produced in any year will be considered, though ones completed in the last year or two are usually of greatest interest.
Deadline
The deadline for submissions was the 1st November 2009 (unless there were exceptional circumstances that we were made aware of by this date)
Please let us have screeners as soon as convenient, it will help us in developing the thematic nature of the festival in the best possible way.
Selection process
We will select films according to quality of filmmaking and effectiveness of communicating the issue, as well as relevance to as yet undefined discussion themes. Decisions will be made a small selection team from the festival organisers. You will hear by mid January 2010if your film has been selected.
