Organisers

This festival was initiated by Oslo Dokumentarkino and Human Rights House Oslo.

Oslo Dokumentarkino was established five years ago to create a place to meet and discuss socio-political issues of great importance that are underrepresented in Norwegian media, through the use of documentary films. It organises film/discussion events at Parkteatret and other venues in Oslo, on a weekly/monthly basis. See dokumentarkino.no for the full programme.

Human Rights House, Oslo
The Norwegian Human Rights House was established in 1989. Its eight member organisations work with various forms of human rights monitoring, reporting and advocacy, both nationally and internationally. Human Rights Houses are established in different countries to enhance co-operation and joint activities by bringing human rights groups together in one location.
See humanrightshouse.org for more information.

It is home to the following member organisations:
- The Norwegian Helsinki Committee
- The Norwegian Tibet Committee
- The Norwegian Burma Committee,
- Health and Human Rights Info
- Voice of Tibet
- FoodFirst Information and Action Network (FIAN)
- Human Rights House Foundation
- Norwegian P.E.N.
